One of my go-to plans of action for when I'm either traveling, have a packed day of errands or a full schedule at the gym: ALWAYS keep pre-portioned servings of protein powder in those ziplock snack pack baggies. It's a perfect fit, takes up no space, and requires no measuring or mess when you're in a rush. If you don't have a blender bottle on hand its no excuse because you can buy a bottle of cold water anywhere and pour it right in from the edge of the baggie. In this situation I like to keep apples and raw almonds handy. Why those two? They both keep well regardless of temp and aren't fragile so you can toss the tin and apple or two in your briefcase, gym bag, pocketbook (put almonds in baggie then) or where ever. This meal also requires no utensils or additives (like seasonings or various dressings) to be delicious, clean and totally in tune with your goals.

Thursday was my cheat meal, after following all day. I took full advantage of my cheat meal and had a great gourmet meal at Elements rest in princeton. The day after has always been a problem but I woke up and got back on the program. I felt like cutting back because I ate so much the night before, but I continued with the plan. Egg whites in the morning full strength and berries, then chicken and veggies, another dream protein shake and a small steak dinner. I'm sticking with the plan. I did try to drink as much water as I could today, more than a gallon and I'm not done yet! Here comes the weekend!
